Opening up a world of education

Children love to learn. If they are denied access to knowledge, we also deny them the opportunity to change their lives for the better.

EAA Provides Home Learning Support for Parents and Guardians

Calendar icon
Across the globe, more than 1.543 billion students* are currently not attending school due to nationwide and localized school closures in efforts to control the spread of COVID-19. Unfortunately, that number is expected to increase over the coming weeks, as more countries and cities shutter schools indefinitely.

As governments continue to grapple with the challenges of the current coronavirus crisis, the unique problems posed by long-term quarantines will likely be significant for students from underserved communities. Whilst there are a number of schools that have begun to adapt and implement solutions for distance learning, the majority of students worldwide have been left without a clear pathway around distance learning infrastructures, relevant approved digital content and the availability of hardware.

With this in mind, interim solutions can and should be designed. As an early emergency response, EAA’s Innovation Development Directorate has compiled a list of learning resources in different languages to help guide parents, guardians and stakeholders.

Below is a curated and compiled list of vetted educational resources that students can use for free outside of the classroom.
